Weird Tales of the Future #4 CGC 4.0 (1952) Basil Wolverton Pre-code Horror Key. The "Weird Tales of the Future" run features some of the most sought after pre-code horror books of the golden age. Issue #4 has an amazing Basil Wolverton cover - weird bat zombie things snatching people, the scared good girl in the corner with one sneaking up behind - awesome.
This is a 4.0 with cream to off white pages - presents well, colors look good, no detracting flaws. Not original owner - however, seems clear this book was not cleaned and pressed (see pics).... The back has a quite a bit of soiling, CGC notes call out "creases" "finger bends"...Older, thinner case - graded in 2015. Can't guarantee the book would benefit from pressing / cleaning - sharing as info. Based on CGC notes and visual inspection there appear to not be any structural flaws ex.
No splits, tape, large rips, etc. Tough book to get raw or in grade. (As noted - older, thin CGC case - looks good, no issues).
