Black Cat Mystery #39 1952 Pre-Code Horror

A nice raw copy of Black Cat Mystery #39 Very good raw book. Staples tight and spine solid. Cover is clean with only minor flaws: slight edge wear and minor blunt bottom left corner.

The title appears fade or a printing flaw (note similar issue on the back). The back cover is also very good with only minor wear and some fading in orange inked areas, which also could be a printing flaw? Inside pages are off -white and in very good shape. This is a very fine book with only a few minor defects and a great cover.

The comic is complete with all pages. Classic golden age pre-code horror. Was referenced in Seduction of the Innocent, leading to establishing the Comics Code Authority. An amazing slice of comic history that you can hold in your own hands! Check out our other auctions for more comics.
